Understanding the challenges and needs of those afflicted with Alzheimer's disease is especially important for crisis workers and first responders.

That's why Gordie Howe C.A.R.E.S will host a wide range of educational seminars for public personnel such as police, EMS, CPS and social workers in order to arm them with up-to-date Alzheimer's information and dementia management best practices. Members of the public will also be able to attend.

In partnership with local subject matter experts, regular seminars, webinars and events aimed specifically at front line workers will be available online, at the Society's educational theatre located at 22 Shawnee Hill SW, Calgary, AB or in other locations to be determined later.
